When can patients receive their reminder calls?

At any time, although most practices prefer to place reminder calls between 6:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.  two to three nights before the appointment in order to have time to fill in cancelled appointments.

What is the daily procedure associated with PRN’s patient appointment reminder solution?

The practice generates a report from their scheduling system and uploads it to PRN over a secure Internet connection. The entire process takes a couple of minutes.

Yes it can. In this case, a patient would respond by pressing 1 to confirm the appointment or 2 to re-schedule. If they press 2 a recording can play instructing them to call the office during normal business hours to re-schedule.

Can PRN’s automated patient reminder messages be custom recorded?

Absolutely. Messages are professionally recorded and personalized for each practice.

For a multi-physician practice, are separate prompts available for each provider?

Yes they are. Prompts will say a provider’s specific name.

Can messages be tailored to the type of appointment, or the location of an appointment?

Yes, and they can also remind patients to bring their co-pay, insurance card, medications and other pertinent information.

Are messages left on answering machines?

Yes they are with all of the pertinent information.

What happens in the case of busy signals and no answers?

In these cases, patients will be called three additional times.
